They killed the prophets, and you join in their crime by building the monuments! ----» Gulped from Luke 11:47-48 Here, we see that the sins committed by ancestors can be revived by their generations. When people immortalise or re-engage the wrong deeds done by their predecessors, they incur sorrow to themselves. What are the things your ancestors did that you are re-igniting? What are the things you are doing that will bring sorrow to your generations to come? Behold, anyone who accepts Christ and is in Christ has become a new creature. The newness we have in Him wipes us clean from everything in our past and helps us build a better future for our generations to come even as we are in the present. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ help us do things that will bring blessings to us and our generations to come.
