ARMY ORGANISES KHO KHO AND VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT Jammu : 19 Oct 2014-Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, located at Bhadarwah, under Delta Force started Pir Panjal league Kho Kho Tournament for the Girls students on 09 October 2014, was concluded today. A total of eight teams of different schools from Bhaderwah tehsil participated in the tournament. A total of 08 matches were played during the tournament. The final match was played between Govt Higher Secondary School, Malothi and Atkhar Public School, Sartingal. The Govt Higher Secy School, Malothi won the final match with the margin of 12 - In another sports event, the Volleyball Tournament organised by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Gool, under Uniform Force concluded on 18 October 2014. A total of six teams participated under the banner of various schools and villages. The Final match was played between Govt Middle School, Gosai and Govt High School, Khanikote, which was won by the later with narrow margin.During the closing ceremony of tournament, Mr Bhusan Sharma, Principal, Govt Higher Secondary School (Girls) Bhaderwah and Mr Baldev Singh, Sarpanch of Khanikote village thanked the Indian Army for organizing this event and said that these kinds of activities keep the youth motivated and channelizes their energy in positive manner.
