ATA, the Youth Association from Transylania is looking for 3 volunteers from Italy, Portugal and Slovania for 12 months EVS mobilities starting from September 2014. The volunteers will do their activity with 9 other EVS volunteers from Armenia, Georgia, Germany Hungary and Turkey in an already approved project. Anyone interested should apply as soon as possible on the office.ata@gmail. Below is the description of the 3 activities and attached is the full call for volunteers. 1. Support person for the Hosting Organisation – 1 volunteer from Italy The volunteer will work directly with the staff and the volunteers of the NGO, in the office, supporting all the activities carried out by us. These will be: supporting the NGOs Erasmus+ activities by creating visibility and dissemination materials, helping with logistics and bringing new ideas; doing local cultural activities in collaboration with the local stakeholders; doing social activities for the inclusion of orphan and Roma children; and supporting the host NGO in organizing work-camps, leisure time activities, nature-, literature-, IT-camps and festivals. 2. Amateur Astronomy Guide – 1 volunteer from Portugal The volunteer would work together with another volunteer from Germany, doing non-formal activities on basic astronomy and sky observation for children and youth. Together they will have to start up 2 clubs for the 2 age groups, do activities where groups get to understand basic astronomy, do activities where the groups build amateur telescopes and astronomic measurement devices and organize night sky observation outings for the groups 3. Kindergarten support activity – 1 volunteer from Slovenia The volunteer would collaborate with the local kindergartens, organize weekly workshops for the children on various topics like games to teach foreign languages, boosting creativity, learning about the world, the EU, its values, developing dexterity, understanding and respecting the environment and doing handicrafts, all with non formal teaching methods. They will also do outings, screenings and so on and will give basic training or suggestions on non-formal teaching to the caretakers and teachers
