ATTENTION ! Ministry of Livestock and Agriculture samburu county !!! as a concern citizen I hereby notified you that there is a certain disaster looming inside Mathew ranges where healthy livestock were dying mistriously under unknown circumstances while the thin ones never affected with such disaster . In a spun of last three weeks over 83 healthy stock within Mathew ranges Ngilai wamba were already dead and still continuing and the local community terms such a disaster MBEENE which can affect very healthy stock and its something like a stroke coz the affected animal dies instant without showing any sign or symptoms of a disease and when slaughtered the blood already clotted and blood stains also between meat and skin. Thus we request veterinary to visit the said area and take samples analysis for laboratory tests to establish the cause and medics to mitigate in future. It only affect when the stock get up to an altitude of 1500 inside the forest during dry spell like now which seems there must be a certain grass or herb that causes stroke.
