!!!!!!!!!!ATTENTION PET OWNERS!!!!!!!!!! !!!!IF YOUR PET IS MISSING, YOU NEED TO READ THIS POST!!!!!! We live by the west fork apartments by the bowling alley, and there has been a recent rash of missing animals in the area. The tenants in the apartments have been luring animals that they assume are abandoned. Leaving food and scraps outside of our house, and along the road in front of the apartments. There are a number of tenants bringing the animals inside of there houses, making it impossible to find our animals. We had our cat come up missing 3-4 weeks ago. Four of the tenants have come to our house and said that a certain someone has brought the cat inside, taken the collar off, and intend on giving the cat to one of their family members. Keep in mind that this is the tenants next door neighbors who informed us of their actions. I immediately went to the persons door, and received no answer. After leaving a very polite note, and returning five different times, I still receive no answer. One of the tenants has been leaving food alongside the road in front of the apartments, and directly in front of my house (in my yard!). Shortly after, a bunch of my neighbors have had their pets vanish. I have went to the apartment manager, and told her of the situation. I was given a very bad attitude, when I was nothing short of polite in the manner. She even goes so far as to call my pregnant wife, yell at her, and basically call her a liar. I would also like to state that these animals would not be coming to the apartments if the tenants were not feeding, and bringing the animals in their homes. If any animals are lost in the area, please keep in mind that they are most likely lured by the people in these apartments, and have not been abandoned, but more or less have been lured, and stolen. I intend to do everything in my power to inform my community of their actions, so that no more pets end up as victims to the senseless acts of these heartless people.
