AWESOME review our team received from a customer online today. So proud !!!! My grandmother is in her late 80s and lives alone in a pre-fabricated home in El Cajon. Apparently, she had three relatively minor water leaks, but they leaked for some length of time. As a result, she had extensive water and mold damage under her unit and in her walls. Seeing that Gold Coast had the best online reviews, I contacted them. Honestly, there is nothing negative I can say about them. The owner Joe Colombo was very prompt, courteous and professional. His team of Mikes were likewise very professional. They coordinated closely with my grandmothers home insurance company, so she had almost nothing she had to do with her insurance company but sign some papers. The work that Gold Coast performed was thorough and yet they did not haphazardly rip down walls or go beyond what was needed to complete the job. The price quote they gave me at the beginning was accurate; in fact when additional mold was discovered, Mr. Colombo told me that they were under budget and would do the additional work at no additional cost. When my grandmothers home did not pass the air inspection test, Gold Coast quickly found the source of the continued contamination and eliminated it. Her home passed on reinspection. The entire job took approximately three weeks, which is about what I expected. Finally, Gold Coasts men went above and beyond on one occasion. My grandmother had fallen in her bathroom before they arrived and was calling for help. Gold Coasts guys found a way into the house, found my grandmother, carried her to her bed, and waited with her until help arrived. All in all, Gold Coast was marvelous. I hope we never need them again, but if we do, theyll be the first people we call.
