Aaah the simple pleasures in life :-) I got off duty at 06h50 due to day staff being on time and only one patient in Trauma so it was a tiny handover. Walked home, with a spring in my step coz the long night was finally over and was met with smiles and pleasant greetings from staff and patients alike. Went to the shop, got another big smile and Good morning. (and Coke hehe) Got to my building, and the security guard held the door open with a Good morning maam and courteous nod. (My hands were full) Arrived at the lift just as it reached ground floor, greeted some neighbours and was then met with the pleasant scent of newly vacated freshly washed bodies (not the usual body odour iv come to associate a full lift with). I was the only one in the lift, so straight to my floor! Walked in the door to the scent of Lavender thanks to the washing I did before work last night and the gentle breeze rippling the curtains. Im now freshly bathed, fed and ready for bed. . . All is right with the world today and today Im glad to be here. And its overcast so Im going to enjoy my sleep :-) Thank you Lord.
