About Luis: Im not a politician but rather a concerned citizen of Coalinga not happy with the Citys financial troubles.Therefore Ive made the decision to run for City Council because I believe I have the experience, knowledge and want to devote my time & energy into getting Coalinga out of the slump we currently find ourselves in. If elected I plan on working with the rest of City Council to make this City a prosperous and thriving community it once was. Luis Gonzales has lived in Coalinga for close to 20 years. He graduated form Coalinga High School in 1992. He al so attended Coalinga Junior High School in the late 80s. Experience: Luis is a public servant and works for a local government. He first started working as a Code Enforcement/Water Conservation Officer (Certified) and was a member of C.A.C.E.O (California Association of Code Enforcement Officers). Luis promoted to Animal Control Officer II/ Pound Master and is also a Humane Officer (Certified/Class of 2014). Luis is also involved with Animal Rescue and volunteers his time networking cats & dogs for rescue.
