Above London there are lanes in the sky for single engine helicopters. You have to be in just the right place and at the right height or they scramble the jets and you get a spot on that evenings news! You mostly need to be over the Thames and beneath the planes landing at Heathrow and City airport, at roughly the height of the Shard. This clip is of a flight where I had to fly a holding pattern over the Houses of Parliament. They say flying is like wa%^ing - fun to do but a bit boring to watch :-) . It doesnt get much better than this though. Lots to see - how many landmarks can you spot?
