[Abu Anas Sidheeque M. A. Veliankode (Riyadh, KSA) • A GROUP OF FOLLOWERS OF THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD () WILL CONTINUE TO PREVAIL, FOLLOWING THE TRUTH UNTIL THE LAST HOUR. • THIS GROUP WILL NOT BE HARMED BY THOSE WHO HUMILIATE THEM UNTIL THE DECREE OF ALLAH COMES TO PASS They are the group of people who venerate the Sunnah and seek to propagate it. They adhere to the ‘aqeedah (beliefs) of the companions of the Prophet (swalla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam). In seeking to understand their religion, they refer to the Qur’an and Sunnah. This group is the saved group, the victorious party, which many imams have stated is the group referred to in the words of the Prophet (swalla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam): لا تزال طائفة من أمتي ظاهرين على الحق لا يضرهم من خذلهم حتى يأتي أمر الله وهم كذلك “A group of my Ummah will continue to prevail, following the truth. They will not be harmed by those who humiliate them until the decree of Allah comes to pass when they are like that.” (Saheeh Muslim, Hadith # 1920). They correct what the people corrupt. They revive the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (swalla-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam). They will continuously concentrate on reform, Da’wah, knowledge and teaching. This is glad tidings that there will be a group which still prevails and adheres to the truth. Truth must remain until the Last Hour. Moreover, they will concentrate on enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil.
