Acacia Burkittii is a subspecies of acacia acuminata that is found - TopicsExpress

Acacia Burkittii is a subspecies of acacia acuminata that is found in the inland desert regions of Australia. Burkittii is usually found further inland than typical forms of acacia acuminata, and it can be distinguished by narrow phyllodes, shorter spikes and bigger, rounder seeds. The seeds are perhaps the easiest way to distinguish burkittii from the narrow phyllode for of acacia acuminata. This variety has very unique barrel-shaped yellow flower clusters, which display between July and October in their natural habitat. We also offer several other acacia species including acacia simplex, maidenii, longifolia and more.
