According to ESPN, former Eagles Kick returner/Reciever DeSean Jackson is in DC today for talks with the Redskins for a possible contract. Personally, I feel he is a talented player loaded with lots of speed. But he has a lot of off-field issues as well. Reportedly a lack of work ethic, late for team meetings or just misses them altogether, plus reported connections with gang members. If I were a general manager, I would avoid this guy like the plague. I believe Jackson would be potential cancer and a major distraction. I would be open to a one-year contract though. Let him prove himself to be a team player, and if he is not, cut him loose with minimal effect on the salary cap. Just my two cents.
