According to an article on The Today Newspaper our country via the parliament gave a response to the Bosman law. The "FORESTMAN" LAW shows that Holland plays the Kingdom Charter Card only when it benefits them, not because its there. We have not even pursued the matter fully. While we remain part of the Kingdom, Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten must do their share to make the relationship work. Technicality only complicated matters and lead to more violations of other rights or regulations, and forced us to miss the forest for the trees. I do believe that situations where Holland may still recruit Coast Guards and Marines from Aruba, Curacao and Sint Maarten shows that we have had no objections, but reprocity-wise, they should only recruit our young man and women only on Continental-Dutch-soil if our youngsters have been living in Holland continuously for 2 years and know the country and civil society. Such confrontation lead to calls for independence.
