According to police, a St. Charles County deputy, age 36, and a 23-year-old woman were jogging near the Grand Basin at the foot of Art Hill around 11:15 p.m. when a man slowly walked past them. Police said the officer became suspicious and placed a gun at his side as a precaution. When the pair turned a corner, three black males dressed in dark clothing and hoodies pulled a gun and announced a robbery. According to court documents, Robinson allegedly told the victims, “don’t make me kill you” as he held his hands under his clothes as if he was holding a weapon.
