According to this theory of suicide by a disgruntled pilot, either the co-pilot was in on it or, more likely, he was subdued and compelled to transmit the good night message. Based on the routing, signalling and communications data transmitted from the aircraft, investigators are gravitating towards the suicide mission theory. A suicidal pilot scuttling his plane, killing himself and all the passengers is not unprecedented. Its happened before.
