Achieving Our Corporate Vision When a company decides to employ you, it simply gives you a chance to run along with its vision so you can help achieve her goals. Initially, you were nothing but a greenhorn, a novice or a rookie who knows nothing more than the very aspect of the company for which you were employed. But as time goes on you became the vision and you knew nearly all aspects of works in the company because you were not just working in your department but now you know so much about team work and its importance for achieving corporate goals. You soon find out that you can work in any department of the company and the company realises this too as it begins to update your records and promote you, the rookie of those days past. Soon you become the head of your department and you begin to share the burdens and entitlements of corporate achievements because your level of efficiency and hard work deserves it. Your patience, endurance, skills, risks and successes are rewarded. Well done. That exactly is how it should be in party politics. Where there is no serious commitment, dedication, truthfulness, honesty and a sense of direction, that is when you see people who refuse, for selfish reasons, to become the vision of their party trying to cut corners and doing things with impunity because they assume they have power. Power belong to the people. Such people are not contented with level they are because they are not seeing the expected rewards which they have refused to work for. You cannot reap from where you didnt sow with all honesty. You sowed the wind and should expect its whirlwind. These are the people who cross-carpet quickly, use hired assassins to eliminate, engage in blackmail, character assassination, lies and campaigns of calumny to achieve their selfish and selfcentred personal goals. Which one are you? Can you be trusted? Will you not steal our common wealth if WE entrust you with a position of authority, like your predecessors have? We put N80000 only in your care, you ate it, what if WE had put you in care of Nigerians N300 billion, will you not kill in order to swallow it? Attitude! Attitude!! Attitude!!! Our attitude matters. Institutions are like instruments which when used according to the manufacturers instructions will last long and function properly. However, when tampered with, because we like to cut corners, they dont last. Politics is good as an instrument for setting up governments but are WE honest, truthful, patriotic, contented and good to ourselves? Even God regretted creating man. Which one are you? Are you a builder or a destroyer? Check yourself. Dont bother asking me. I know who I am. WE CAN.
