Actor Shahid Kapoor will be playing a white-collar criminal in filmmakers Raj and Krishna DK’s next directorial venture FAKE ! Director duo Raj and Krishna DK are busy working on their next directorial venture titled ‘Fake’. Actor Shahid Kapoor has been roped in for this crime-thriller. Buzz is, Shahid will play a fraudster in this film. He commits one of the biggest financial frauds the country has ever witnessed. His character thinks that he is above the establishment, but eventually, the law catches up with him. Director Krishna DK confirmed the news saying, “The film, tentatively titled ‘Fake’, will go on the floors later this year, after the release of ‘Happy Ending’. We are yet to cast a leading lady opposite Shahid and lock the rest of the cast.’ He further added,“Meanwhile, work on ‘Happy Ending’ is near completion. We will be shooting the songs and some montages that are pending. We should be ready for a mid September release this year .
