Actually I found it strange the reaction of the civil society groups to the presence of an European Union rep at the recent forum to discuss the EPAs. I thought his inclusion would have afforded us a good opportunity to hear the other side of the debate and learn more about the rationale behind the proposal etc. As it turned it out the man was hustled off the premises!! Ebeiooo! Has it come to this? And people were applauding this??!
