Adelaide is halfway through a blood transfusion (thanks to all you donors out there) to try and perk her up a bit as her haemoglobin has dropped further and shes getting more pale and lethargic each day. This should give her a good boost. Andrew has gone home and Adelaide has been really good with her blood tests, just miserable having her antibiotics as they really hurt going through the iv. Thankfully shes switching over to oral meds so once this transfusion has finished shell be having the lines taken out of both her arms and shell be having her first proper bath in 6 months! She needs more tests on Wednesday and then we will hopefully be able to return home. A kind visitor gave her a huge Peppa this afternoon which has cheered her up heaps ♥
