Please read the message below and share it out... Hi, I don’t know if this is a right page but this is the only one that I can think of. Well, I’m a pure Iban and I am very proud of being Iban , the culture and everything related. So, yesterday I browsed the web for some interesting facts about Ibans and came across the Wikipedia Bahasa Melayu, about Ibans. What I read is really getting me mad and angry. It’s like someone try to demolish the uniqueness of my race and blend it with other race. It’s kind of insulting both race and of course as an Iban, I feel offended. It says there “Dayak Laut” is “Dayak Melayu”. What I knew is the term “Sea Dayak/Dayak Laut” is given by the British when the Ibans became pirates to fight against the invaders. When I searched for Dayak Melayu in the web, there’s no such thing. So, I checked on who edited the article and this user named “Yosri” is often editing it. And he is the one that wrote down that information. If my concern is not correct, please forgive me. And I’ll take that info as new “interesting fact about ibans”. I hope my account/name/identity not to be revealed and wish admins to remove this messages upon reading. P.s.
