#AdminNote pinagsama-sama na namin sa isang post My Favorite Professor (Professor Rex Xerxes Faigao Patricio) (Entry 1) I just gotta say, youre one of the most under-appreciated professors our school has ever had. The students should be more appreciative of what you are doing. Youre more kind than all the professors Ive met. I know you dont have a Facebook account but I just had to say this. I just want you to know that I’m really sorry for all the bad things that I’ve done to you, sir. I did those things with the best intentions. I thought that if I showered you with compliments, gifts, kindness, and praise, you could see me as a potential friend. Then, when I felt rejected, I got insanely upset and wrote that bad letter, which was not right. I misunderstood the message that you wanted to deliver to me through my classmates. What I like about you is your humility, sir. Never have you been arrogant about anything. I really do appreciate what you do and the thing that you do, teaching, is a very noble effort. You are imparting knowledge on impressionable minds and needless to say, you are giving very good impressions. As I’ve said, you are a very humble person. You know what, sir? I think you would make a very good father and brother. I believe in what you can do and the Lord believes in you, too. He wants us to strive for our best in this world and be the best person that we can be. I see something in you, sir, that the other students do not see. I wish and I really think that they should also appreciate what you are doing for you are one of the kindest, most intelligent, and most considerate instructors this school has seen. I see a great man and on this day, December 10, we celebrate his joyous birth. I’d like to think of you as a great sensei. That is what the Japanese call a great teacher and/or a great master. I am thankful for you did not give in to my intrusive advances towards you. This has been a learning experience for me. I was an innocent child when it comes to social interactions and the things that have happened to us helped in honing me into a better person. Do you not see the greatness that you can offer to the world? Yes, you have your problems, sir. Don’t we all? But that doesn’t make any of us lesser persons. Through the eyes of the Lord, we are all equal. Sir, I want you to know that I am aware that you have problems and the reasons why I continued to approach you during these problems is because I thought that I could be of help to you. Well, I only made things worse and I am sorry for that. The Lord believes in you and I believe in you. I just wish the sort of relationship that we have didn’t have to be tarnished during this learning experience. I really think you could be a great father and brother to someone, seeing as you don’t come home drunk every night, you have a steady job, and you care for the well-being of others. Sorry for the many times that I have made you upset. I know I’m a work in progress but I’m getting there. I’m really trying to be the best person that I can be. I’m really thankful that the Lord has used you as His vessel to share with me His word. Yes, you are not sharing things about you but you are sharing things about Him. That means that the Lord destined it to be that you and I were to meet and you have been chosen to enlighten me. Enlighten me, you did, Sir. You are important to God, we all are. I still hold you with high regard and high respect. I hope you can forgive me for the sins that I have committed against you. I wish we could start over, start fresh. I want to do things right this time. I want to make the right choices. Please give me another chance. You’ll always be a father and brother to me. Enjoy this day, for it is yours. I wish you well in life and your doctorate studies. I wish you good health, wealth, and more birthdays to come. Domo arigato gozaimasu and have a very happy birthday, Sensei Rex Patricio! The Insensitive Bast*rd 2013 Mass Communication (Entry 2) Id like to dedicate this entry to Prof. Rex Patricio. Hes such a nice guy. Ive always been a fan of his teaching styles. He was my professor in Philosophy. He has this way of teaching that just speaks to me and its very effective for me. I really dont understand why other students do not find him interesting and great. Perhaps it is only I, who sees his greatness. He just might be the most under-appreciated professors in our school. I always see him married to his work, basically. He always seems so serious, so tense, so mysterious. I want to know what goes on in his head so that I may understand him more and be like him. I consider him to be a very positive role model. He brought me back to the Lord when my faith was dying. I wish he would open up more and let people in his world. Another thing I like about him is his humility. He never brags about anything! Perhaps, he is too humble. He doesnt seem to be very proud of any of his achievements. I love this guy and I wish the best for him. I wish he would smile a bit more. He doesnt have a Facebook account so he cant see this unfortunately. I encourage all of you who read this to go to Mr. Patricio, say hi to him, say thank you, and give him more love and appreciation so that he may get used to it and also be accepting of my appreciation towards him. Hes always been like a father and brother to me. More health, wealth, and life to this guy! Happy Teachers Day, Sir Rex Xerxes Faigao Patricio! Matalino, mysterious, interesting, at gwapo pa! Oh yes, para sa akin, ang lakas ng dating niya. Yun nga lang, parang medyo private ang personality niya. All the more na mas gusto ko pa siyang makilala. Nagtataka ako, bakit nung isang beses sa hallway, may nakita akong may kausap siyang isang student na parang maiiyak na? Siguro fans lang yun ni Sir Rex. Pagbigyan mo naman siya, Sir Rex! Mabuti nga, may nagaappreciate sa iyong student at gusto kang makasama, pasayahin, at magsaya kasama ka. Hanga nga ako sa kaniya kasi may lakas-loob siyang lumapit sa taong inidolo niya samantalang ako, dito lang sa The PLMar Files. Takot ako, eh. Magaling kang tao, Sir Rex. We, students, love and respect you. More power to you and good health and life pa. Lupet Hagupit 2013 Business Administration
