DatsHot! Magazine is now looking for hiring Content Interns! General Information DatsHot! Magazine is now offering online internship opportunities for the Fall 2013 semester. During their time at the magazine, our interns gain real-world experience in the industry by working on timely projects in various departments. • Internship Duration: Begins August 15th, 6 months • General Application Deadline : August 10th, 2013 Internship Requirements Internships are unpaid, but will receive internship credit / job experience. We’re looking for hard-working, detail-oriented individuals with a serious interest in magazine journalism, music, tv, film, and fashion. Interns often commit 10-12 hours per week to the magazine, though we can be somewhat flexible with class scheduling. We ask that our interns treat this internship as they would any job, and, therefore, expect a certain level of professionalism and independence. Internship Descriptions Our editorial interns work closely with our editorial and digital staff to produce one of the top city magazines in the country. EDITORIAL Internship (Online) Duties include fact-checking, research, archiving, transcriptions, and various other administrative tasks for the editorial department. Interns have the opportunity to blog and write online stories, and occasionally get the chance to interview indie and major artist featured for the magazine. CONTENT Internship (Online) Duties include writing blogs and short stories for news, music, tv/film, and fashion departments.
