Adventureland (2009) Genre - DraMedy (drama/comedy) Rated - R One of those quirky Indie movies I watched some years ago. its a coming of age story set in an amusement park. A Booksmart guy with high hopes for the future,forced to take up a part time job ,to raise money for his Euro Trip. Jesse Eisenberg won critical acclaim for his role as the awkward nerdy teenager coveting affection from a young brooding Kristen Stewart (fortunately this time it works for her ;) ) The pacing of the story is slow, so anyone hoping for a teen romp with mindless slapstick a-la American Pie please avoid this. Those who wants to watch how certain young actors get recognized for bigger projects have a go at this. The movie is set in 1987 and has some great 80s music (pop/ rock and alt-rock) in the soundtrack. And forget the IMDB ratings too !
