Advertisements: The Lesson by Cynthia Blue mzjetson/?p=4259 *****READ 5-STAR REVIEWS***** Name: Thomas Baker Reviews: “The Lesson”, by Cynthia Blue, is a well-written story that teaches without preaching. The title of the book implicitly sums up the book’s purpose, namely, to teach a lesson. Author Cynthia Blue delivers on that inherent promise. Beyond the author’s intent (teach a lesson), the literary style is lively, entertaining and enjoyable. The characters are well developed and the plot is fluid, moving at a brisk pace. Cynthia kept me turning the pages all night long until I had finished reading the whole book in one sitting. The Prologue sets up the whole story, making us familiar with the narrative style, the protagonists, and the theme the book will build its foundation on, namely, the inability to appreciate what you have. When we are dazzled by the green grass on the other side of the fence, it is difficult to appreciate the beautiful green grass on your own side of the fence. In other words, this story is about an all too familiar tale of deceit and deception, disappointment and dysfunctional relationships. The book is exquisitely well-written, professionally edited, and full of value. Readers of this book will take away a deeper understanding of human nature, both in terms of our strengths and weaknesses, and promote reflection upon the choices we make. Ultimately, if it causes you to stop and reassess your own relationships, it will have a potentially long-lasting positive impact on the quality of your interpersonal relationships. This was my first time reading something by Ms. Cynthia Blue and I look forward to reading more from this talented author in the future. Reviewed by Thomas Jerome Baker Author of “How To Coach A Debate Team” Name: Artyslyfe Reviews: This was the first book that I have read by Cynthia Blue and it will certainly not be my last from her. She is an amazing author and the way that she paints this story is simply breathtaking. I liked how the story focused around 3 men and their individual stories. It was captivating to see them go through their journeys. The path to getting everything can sometimes be more destructive than what it is worth and this book proves that. Cynthia Blue’s writing style was very unique and it captivated me into the story. I liked this book because it did teach a lesson and I feel like I will be able to apply it to my everyday life. - See more at: mzjetson/#sthash.fdybHMZn.dpuf
