Advice to Lakyn, my 18-yr old daughter as she heads off to college . . . Be confident (even when you don’t feel like it)….it’s amazing how a little confidence creates even more confidence and elevates you to new levels! Show passion (it’s OK to be excited about something, big or small)…. and people around you will get excited too! As Steve Jobs was quoted, “People with passion can change the world for the better.” Smile ……it’s contagious. See how many people you can pass that smile onto in one day! Laugh….it really is the best medicine... and it’s free! Inspire others ….a quick complement, an encouraging word or showing excitement for someone’s idea will ignite good karma.
