Aetna just sent me a letter explaining that my current policy for medical and dental (PPO, I choose my doctors) was $176 per month , but when I pick up the obamacare Aetna plan my monthly cost goes so $555, and I have to go to in network doctors, and basically pay for everyone who is pregnant, needs free birth control or mental heath costs, etc. Obamacare is going to cause more people to go without insurance. The deductible is $6350-single, $12,500 family, if you go out of network it is $24,500 for a family and $12,700 single. If my single plan is $555 per month, what the hell do families have to pay a month. What a deal! Good thing I am now back on Dougs company insurance. I would never be able to afford this plan on alimony only and would have gotten a couple of thousand to much to get any tax breaks on it.
