After Amanda told me about this last night, I had to look it up but I didnt have time due to the State of the Union. One, I hate it when I see big money donors rewarded. These types of jobs should go to people who have a good working knowledge of the country and can be seen as a good embodiment of America stands for. Two, the work he now has to do in order to rebuild the trust of the government of Norway is pretty large. The least he could have done was at least read about Norway before a Senate confirmation hearing. His bumbling about the coalition government could have been avoided if he actually prepared himself and if he surrounded himself with people that knew more than him.
