After Dinner Nap, 13 x 10, pastel on Hahnemuhle sanded watercolor paper, 1997 (from my own photos). This is one of the older portraits I decided to share today; it was a turning point for me as an artist. I started out as an artist, especially in pastel, by painting my cats, and this is an early one from that era.
