After a bit of a lull, attendance at Masjid Wilayah was up again. Or could it be because there was a function? Whatever the reason I loved it. The PM decided to drop in tonight. It was good seeing him leave his pomp and pageantry aka his police escorts outside the mosque. Dressed in a simple baju Melayu and sarong, he joined the congregation as just another servant of Allah. And better than that was seeing the people conduct themselves with dignity and not grovel at his feet for attention as most are wont to do.Everyone went about their business, devoting themselves to the worship of the Only One worthy of worship. Have a meaningful last days of Ramadhan everyone. May we all be blessed with the hidden treasure of Laylatul Qadr. Up the ante folks. Up the ante.
