After a careful review and a fact finding mission by Mr. Kemoh - TopicsExpress

After a careful review and a fact finding mission by Mr. Kemoh Sidibay to the Kono General Hospital Maternal Ward, I have finally decided to transfer all the money that was donated to me by my friends and family to our young Major Mr Saa Emerson Lamina. I have no doubt that this money will help in getting more beds and some refurbishment of the ward. A quick breakdown of the fund: I received$1800 from my donors $500 added as my own contribution for a total of $2300.00. I used 300 to entertain my donors,$500 deposited into the Kono Progressive Union Toronto Branch account for our next coming fund raiser, this cash will be use to buy food and drinks for our next big event. I wired $1500 yesterday to our Major who is in Maryland for a visit (receipt enclosed). I want to thank Mr. Kemoh for going down to Kono and help us know what is needed, and thanks to all my friends and family for your generous donations. Major Lamina will update me in few months about the accomplishment of our donations. Dates and venue will be announce next year about our next event. This time my focus will be to help those children that lost their limbs during the rebel atrocities in Sierra Leone. Many children hands and feet were cut off by rebels, today this kids are finding it hard to survive in a very hash environment. Our next focus is to help those kids in Kono. Thank u all. God bless
