After a little time off of my investigating ideas for where to go next summer the cold weather got me back into the swing of things and were ready to book our beachfront condo in Indian Shores, FL on the Gulf Coast. Never heard of it? Me either, but what a find. Indian Shores is a quaint little town of only 1500 residents (not overly crowded and crazy and great deals on rentals) with sugar white sand, turquoise water and 360 days of sunshine a year! Located just 23 minutes south of Clearwater Beach, 12 minutes north of Madeira Beach, and 1.5 hours from Siesta Key. So basically the same sand and water of the expensive resort towns without the huge price tag! In fact the price was so amazing (just $900 a week) we are able to go in July instead of August! Ive already started to check out all of the towns up and down the coast including inland into Tampa where dad and I have already agreed well be checking out the local Dirt Track Raceway while were there.
