After a long 4/5 weeks of broken ribs, pneumonia and kidney failure, we finally have an answer as to why all of this has happened to my sweet daddy! He has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma.. cancer of the blood plasma! We are waiting results from a bone marrow biopsy to confirm this, but most likely is the case! This diagnosis answers lots of questions to everything that has happened, since most of his symptoms are classic for this type of cancer (brittle bone, kidney failure, etc..) We are encouraged by this news, because it is treatable and manageable and the treatment most likely will clear up the kidney failure and all of the complications from the failure! He will be starting chemo and will continue with dialysis and plasma exchange, so please just continue to keep him in your prayers!! We are so thankful to have answers, and now we know specifically how to pray for him!! xoxo
