After a very short night, a very intense day with my 15 students at APNTS, 2 from Korea, 2 from Myanmar, 2 from China, 1 from Mongolia, 1 from Peru, the rest from the Philippines. One a Presbyterian, one a Baptist, two from Chinese house churches, one a Pentecostal, one a Wesleyan, one a Free Methodist, one an Alliance, the rest affiliated at some level with the COTN. Ironically none from the Methodist Church, when my topic is the origins of Methodism. We ended up seven hours later in the library looking at the magnificent full shelves of materials related to the subjects. I admit it, Im exhausted! Tomorrow, I march in a Filipino wedding as one of the sponsors of one of our students, Dorys, here on campus. These are such elegant affairs here in the Philippines.
