After having a go at clipping Lily which i do every month (remember i took 2 weeks at 10 mins a day to get her first clip) i think she looks ok for an amateur, she stands nicely now on the table with no restraints ie someone holding her. I then took them into the countryside and there was a small brook that both Daisy and Duffy love going in, it is shallow with a deep part to the left. Only trouble with it there is a steep embankment leading down to it, no problem to them two or you and me but for her it was scary. So i clambered down as she really wanted to go with Daisy and Duffy, down she came nice and steady then because its a brook it didnt make the same sound as the river. This is the sort of thing i learn from her, i always looked at a brook, stream, river as just that never thought about the difference in the sound. So here she is being determined to investigate the new sound, you will see at no point did i touch her, just chatted away she was shaking at one stage but again it was her choice. Duffy made it more scary for her by splashing about, but that is Duffy he has to be near when she is uncertain. How he knows this i do not know, i have been told many times by certain folk that they are just dogs that they have no comprehension of disabilities, i will always argue that one. I have seen these two do things for her and with her to enable Lily to go forth or find something. She achieved her adventure with all the courage she had on her own, now folks that has to be A Kind Of Magic, me i tripped clambering back up and guess who had their heads over the edge, yep all three standing as if they were laughing.
