After having worked hard rounding up used college textbooks to save some $ we found ourselves driving 30 miles or so to pick up an 80.00 book for 15.00. We met the young lady my wife talked to at "her church". It was raining when we finally arrived & pulled into the church driveway where her mustang was parked. She smiled, rolled down her window and handed me the book refusing the 15.00. I insisted she take it but she absolutely & sweetly refused saying "No I want to give this to you. God has blessed me & I want to bless you." She had no idea at that point I was a Pastor. My wife told her about our family & church & we all laughed about it as we drove off. This young lady sent my wife a text. She told her it was a pleasure meeting us. She also spoke about the different gods talked about in the Lit book & to just be aware & never forget there is but one true God to whomever the book was for. She told my wife she would be praying that God blessed our family & our church. Now, I said all of this to make this point. Not every "preachers daughter" is as some song writers, secular artists, & other misinformed people would like to think. Nor are they all the way a recent tv show tried to portray. Today my day was made when I met an amazing young Christian lady. It just so happens her dad is a Pastor. I must say he is an amazing Christian Dad. The highest honored title any man could achieve.
