After more than nine event- & wonderful years with UNDP Im joining UNICEF on Monday. Its a short move within the same UNiverse, just one block south, but still an exciting new setting. UNICEF invests more than $4 billion per year to advance the rights and lives of children around the globe. This money must be raised, and Ill be leading a new division focused on developing and deepening the partnerships with governments, international organizations and other actors that make it possible. And well strive to ensure that the rights of children are enshrined in all relevant international agreements, including the next global development goals. Theyre not sustainable unless they work for children..
