After posting my challenge with my passport, Alenyo Mashell inboxes me all the different possibilities since he worked at the immigration for a longtime. He gives a number of a gentleman called Bukenya who I call and says you better get a letter from a very powerful individual in Uganda for that to happen quickly. I call up Stephen Asiimwe CEO Uganda tourism board for a letter which he writes and signs in less than 30 minutes addressed to the permanent secretary of internal affairs. At 1000hrs Tuesday my PA drops the letter at immigration and I then call permanent secretary ministry of tourism to make sure he calls up his colleague which he happily does. He actually says for you Wekesa, i will do it right away and call you back immediately. Anyway, I had a new passport in less than 24 hrs and now in Malaysia going to do what I love though, I missed my first presentation today and looking forward to the Saturday presentation on Ugandas eco tourism...ya cant wait. Thank you Alenyo Marshel and all of you who prayed and played part.......I flew with Qatar airways Entebbe Doha Kuala Lumpur. In 20minutes I will be boarding Malaysian airlines to Kota Kinabalu MH 2640 sounds exciting cant wait. God is good.
