After reviewing the status of chimpanzees, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) determined that all members of a species must be afforded the same protection and that the split listing of chimpanzees must therefore be eliminated. The Jane Goodall Institute (JGI) plans to send the letter below to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, urging them to finalize the proposed rule. You can join your voice and sign the letter.
