After seven months in the writing desert, my brain is exploding with ideas for blog posts. So many, in fact, that Im overwhelmed! Do I tackle the literary beauty and physical pain that is The Book Thief in its original text form? Or the crazy mixed emotions I had while visiting my family recently? Perhaps Ill share my thoughts on the four women who recently completed Marine combat training but will not be assigned to a combat unit. TOO MANY THOUGHTS! They are all vying for space and attention. I dont know which is worse - having no desire to write or having an overwhelming amount of material to choose from. Rather than make a choice, Im going to get my nails done. And possibly eat chocolate. And maybe throw the covers over my head and pray my brain shuts off again, because the writing desert sure was a quiet place.
