“The path of the righteous is level; You, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth. Yes, Lord, walking in the way of Your laws, we wait for You; Your name and renown are the desire of our hearts.” (Isaiah 26: 7-8) Some days it is not easy to dust ourselves off and keep going. Often it is a struggle to find ways to cope and to seek the wisdom we need to persevere. We cannot travel down the path of affliction on our own.The only way to handle the challenges of daily limitations is with God, holding on to Him and His promises. We must follow Christ and live as He lived (I John 2:6). No matter what Jesus faced, He never lost His trust in the Father, and neither should we. We must remember that the Lord upholds us (Psalm 37:24). Sometimes it may be hard to live in the moment and find joy. However, as we learn to keep our hope and trust in God, we can begin to view life with a sense of adventure. Jesus, lived each day trusting God, His Father and changing the world around Him. We need to ask The Lord to help us do the same. (RM Devotion)
