After spending a couple hours after school helping my teacher, I stayed another few hours at the Learning Lab (a place where students can come after school to get help with homework or just a place to study), and had a teacher sit down with me and listen to what I want to do with my future. Just having someone tell me that I have inspired them, and they want to help me leaves me at a loss for words. He helped revise my bio for the sponsorship programme Ive set up for myself for my semester in England, but thats not necessarily the important part. Having someone assure me that I am a good person, that I am giving to the community and that I deserve all the things I wish to accomplish in my life is just incredible. He had told me that he and another teacher sat down and talked about how they wished there were more students like me and that Im a positive spirit to the people around me. He told me that he knows I will get far in life. People like this are such a gift to the world. People who reassure others of their importance and brilliance are just so important...Thank you so much to him for touching my life! There are such amazing people out there, guys.
