I encourage you to Vote No. While it may be true This amendment does not increase or decrease state revenues. It will redirect money that is currently allocated to other areas. This revenue source currently funds the SHIP program which provides down payment assistance, weatherization, and rehab on homes for our elderly and low income citizens. This amendment will also take land off of the tax role creating an additional tax burden on our citizens. I caution every voter to understand the agenda behind this feel good proposal. Make sure you understand what we will be loosing and who will pickup the cost!
