After successfully completing the pilot phase, the Myriad - TopicsExpress

After successfully completing the pilot phase, the Myriad Foundation are excited to announce launch of the Awareness Project. The project entails engaging with the public and conducting questionnaires with the tag line Have Your Say. The Awareness Project works in a twofold capacity: 1) It allows the participant to offload, presenting important information on the role of the community, media, education, authorities and religion in todays society. This allows us to gather vital information which enables us to firstly understand how this person thinks and it also allows us gather important information which we then analyse and evaluate to possibly use to improve or launch further projects. In this way we plan to drive and develop our projects more appropriately based on the needs of society and by addressing the concerns and meeting aims and objectives outlined through the research. The data gathered through the Awareness Project will be shared with Islamic organisations across the region in order to develop and improve the effectiveness of the Da’wah. 2) This encounter allows for us to ask the participants a series of basic questions regarding Islam, creating a myth busting opportunity where we are able to clear common misconceptions about Islam and explain the reasons why we accept Islam to be Divine and therefore willfully submit. The training will equip each member of the Awareness Project team to be able to gather this important information and to be able to engage in a conversation where the participant is able to leave with a different understanding of Islam inshaAllah.
