After training tonight, I comprehend more and more on what I want to do with the fire service. As I was following the hose through obstacles without being able to see (Ive done it before, but not to this difficulty), and having that feeling of this cant possibly get any harder, I realized that the fire service is where my heart really is. Usually in a sport when I mess up a lot, I dont want to keep doing it. But, with learning more and feeling more challenged to do better, I realize that I dont want to go anywhere but forwards in my journey to being the best fireman I can be. With much more to learn and critique, and I am so glad to have the awesome guys by my side to help me get through it. Whether itd be the other juniors, firefighters, or officers, I wouldnt want to have anyone else to work with. Many things in my life have made a large part as to who I am, and I know this is one of the biggest.
