After watching the show this morning, I reflected on fact concerning the Ukraine. Firstly, is Putin acting like a military dictator, SEIZING privately owned businesses of ALL sizes, always citing non-pmt of taxes, from first time he took office in 2000, COMMUNIST-STYLE, AS WAS DONE IN AFTERMATH OF THEIR 1917 GREAT REVOLUTION......I was THERE, in July to mid august, 2000, and have my old stamped passport to prove that. I was met at airport by a Russian woman, I was with her all over Moscow for 2 weeks. There were huge open air bazaars, we went to, many vendors with tents selling all from clothes, shoes, produce brought from all over, including Mongolia. Many of them had fights, telling of Moscow Putin supporters, taking over tents with goods, AFTER police came and arrested the tent owners, telling me, that never happened until Putin was elected.....I went to a barber shop/salon, the owners said they were offered jobs, after notices of unpaid taxes, new owners were coming to take possession and they showed me the, Feb. 2000 govt receipt, reading 1999 taxes paid, and official govt stamp on it. They had hired a lawyer, who told them to HIDE THAT...., and it was hidden in store across street, his wife had gone to get it, they wanted me to take their message to the world. Later I got a letter from Moscow, people across the street, the couple WERE ARRESTED, and in jail.......new owners who barely could cut hair, or anything. I never forgot what so many people told me, the phrase, It will be USSR again. The word Oligarch was just getting public back hen, and many called PUTIN a oligarch.......So, ever since we have seen him as exactly that, lining his pockets in the same way, since then, as that corrupt oligarch/president, who no time to to remove ALL of his treasures, from his huge palace, , and how about the huge NEW palace he was having built in the Crimea??...Where did that all come from? Putin, and his graft, then to back that up, the new govt mentioned 22 billion had been taken from govt treasury, since he became the leader of Ukraine, and of course, Russians dont GET to see all the real truth/news, on TV, because PUTIN controls all that. When I was here, I was told there were ALOT of TV and radio stations, OPEN honest reporting, same as we see, but only one News channel left, showing BBC News as example, I saw CBS even. By the time I was to leave after 6 weeks there, THAT channel was GONE. all being like RT News is, I see aired on PBS, sickening seeing their twist of the truth. But this is a true democracy, so RT DOES get to spread their version of things as Putins international mouthpiece, and anti-free world news publication, they pay homeless or same as people from the streets as staged interviews, so obvious it stinks, doesnt it? I wish CBS would put an honest exposure of RT News, embedded within our society, as a enemy of the state publication. Wish Putin got to see this, he cant do anything about it, not in this great democracy of FREE SPEECH. I do have satisfaction, that his future after leaving this existence, Satan will be enjoying an eternity of basting Putin over a flame like barbecued pork....
