Airtel Harassment Hi, I had requested for my broadband disconnection on 11th Aug 2012 bearing landline number: 080-60331279 and Account ID: 7005529688. later after so many annoying calls "regarding why i am disconnecting" I get mail to pay all my due. I received another call on 27thNovember 2012 to pay all my due, I was told I need to pay even Sept and Oct month which I never used, then after long hour conversation I was told to pay Rs 1556. The lady on phone said Airtel representative will come to my place to collect the amount and cancel all dues. So on 10th december 2012 sharp, Airtel representative named Mr Ravi came to Banashankari 2nd stage (whist then I was moved out of my old place) to collect. He diligently collected Rs 1556 bearing bill num: 1468482 dated 10th dec 2012. I was relieved that this mess got over. And still my modem device was not reimbursed. I called so many times and even went to airtel relationship center in whitefield. On 16th Jan 2013 I received call from Mr Ranvir who claims an advocate representing Airtel in Jan Adalat. He threatened me saying if I dont pay the bill he submit the case in court. I told him several times that I already paid the bill, I even told him the bill number. He never believed me. He asked me to immediately go to nearest airtel outlet and pay the due amount else he will file case against me. I had to literally run out of office in middle of afternoon, after I reached the outlet, when I checked the amount I had previously paid on Dec 10th was not at all showing. I even showed them the bill. They said "We cant help sir" its not credited. They told me to raise a complain. I was definitely not in situation to file a complaint. Ranvir called me again from Delhi that my time is running out. I had no option but to the pay Bill again. This time I paid Rs 2151 on 16th Jan 2013. I had to call Mr Ranvir again and told him this new bill number then he was convinced and agreed to drop the case against me. I was totally shocked by the response of Airtel outlet representatives and the advocate who is so rude to me! It was mental Trauma of 4 Hrs I had to pass through. I raised a complaint immediately that day to the customer care and not even one person were ready to lodge it. I had to repeatedly call customer care for almost 1 week to find one honest guy who said he will take the complaint. The complaint number is 27474414. Please address this immediately. Or I need to take extreme measure of going to consumer court for the mental trauma and torture I had to go through. Thank You --Sabarish
