Well, certainly not to the SC justices who, after being chided by a volatile president on national TV, were - like mindless kiddos - threatened to reverse their decision.The inane president might have thought the SC is merely his political puppet machinery he can actuate according to his instants quirks. Imagine a non-lawyer president who was not even a straight A student faulting a unanimous ruling of a chamber that seats the most brilliant legal minds. Its tantamount to a boob telling a legal pundit: I am right and you are wrong. As if thats not degrading enough, his legislative allies called for JDF (Judicial Development Fund) abolition as a portent of things to come while the president called on his supporters to wear yellow to show his numbers to the SC. An air of neighborhood bullies pervades the aquino government and these toughies are the sorts of people who run our government. The president has a dragonish temperament ready to spew fire upon a slightest swipe. Constructive critisms are construed by this braggart as nothing but personal affront, not a mechanism to enhance his service and his being. His temperament bespeaks of his mental state w/c earlier on was already blasted by some as unobtrusively imbalanced. As a statesman, I expect him to express legal dissent discreetly and not amidst viewers numbering in millions. It made me wonder if the rigors of presidential life have made a dent on his mental state or perhaps he was just ABNOY since birth.
