Ala Hazrat spent 13 years and 9 months researching before writing Hussam al Haramayn. Perhaps this is telling us something... Besides Ala Hazrat is firstly the imam of love and taqwa, then everything else. I sense that these very Brelavis/Rizwis would have opposed Ala hazrat on his stance on the jummah adhan, zakat, photography, English clothes and language etc. Ala Hazrat is a Mujadid who didnt work with peoples expectations and didnt have an entourage of zealots. He was Abdul Mustafa and worked sincerely for Allah and Allah gave him openings. He dealt with the deobandi issue good and proper. He didnt start a hate club through newspapers and magazines (your equivalent of Facebook). Are people not content with his work that they are still going around in circles? Our religion is Islam. It is understood by the ulama from the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) onwards- not Ala Hazrat onwards! Someone ask the ulama, not Facebook commentators, if there is an ijma on any of the hang ups these people are struggling to overcome. I met with some people yesterday who are dealing with children of Indo-Pak Sunnis who are denying Allah. Maybe, we should divert our attention from taking people out of Islam to bringing them in. Im sorry, I cant take people commenting on Facebook boasting about their services seriously as the Prophet (peace be upon him) spent 40years expressing his excellent character before preaching for 23years-not vica versa. If people are sincere and live the sunnah, I believe Allah will give them Towfeeq. Ultimately, while I personally might not agree or disagree with everything the ulama say or do, I will not undermine them or watch by as inexperienced, arrogant and ignorant creatures insult the inheritors of the Prophets.
