Alien Abduction A family of 5 goes to the mountains for a fun filled camping trip in North Carolina. The youngest of the children is slightly autistic, and has this thing where he wants to film everything. On their first night out in the woods, the smallest wakes up to hearing strange noises outside the tent. He wakes his brother and sister up and they venture out into the campsite to see what they are hearing. They look up and see three lights in the air, in a triangular shape, and watch in shock as all three lights suddenly zoom away from each other and out of site one by one. The next day the family decides to explore the mountain and go their next campsite. But the mountain just seems so huge and winding, the feeling of being lost infiltrates the family. They soon come up to a tunnel, and see many vehicles abandoned it seems by their owners near and inside the tunnel. The father decides to try to see if he can find someone inside the tunnel. The eldest son and younger son go with him, leaving the mother and the daughter in their car. The trio of men get half way through the tunnel, and stop when they see 3 to 4 tall skinny figures coming towards them! The family has to run and try to hide from these creatures on a huge mountain to which feels like there is no escape from! This movie is another found footage genre, and filmed from the point of view from the youngest child. The acting is pretty good, and the story is of course, obviously about aliens. You only sadly get one or two real good looks at what they look like, and the rest of the time they are there in form of the lights and sirens from their ships. For it being an alien abduction movie, I actually really liked it! The visual effects are good, and it does make your jaw drop a couple of times. Its supposed to be considered a science fiction / thriller, but it did use some of the jump scare tactics. This might scare the kids, so I wouldnt watch it as a family movie night. If you like aliens, and can handle the hand held camera shots, go for it. I did, and was pleased I watched it. I give it about 3/5 stars youtube/watch?v=QT5j2XvdLnQ
