All Sikkim Tamil Nadu Students Welfare Association (ASTNSWA) celebrated their fresher’s welcome in Chennai on 15th Sept 13 at Jade club house, Vedanemelli ,east coast road. The new members were welcomed warmly and they were also given a seminar for better understanding of the concept of the association. ASTNSWA is more like a social organisation it aims to provide aid to all fellow Sikkimese students who are studying in Tamil Nadu with the best of its efforts. The association also help Sikkimese students with admission by providing information about the colleges. The programme included interactive session in which the new members cleared theirs doubts and misunderstandings. The meeting was held the president of the association followed by the treasurer who gave the full detailed account about the association till date.
